You can search contacts directly from the desktop by just typing on the keyboard. You don't even need to have the contacts app open, it opens automatically when you type. Here's the vid...
I was hoping for a video tutorials when I got my N900. I like all your videos, it may be the beginning of something that will help more ppl come to like and "enjoy" it. I know it may take time, since a lot of other are asking for different video's on things, but I wanted to know if you wouldnt mind eventually making videos for those of us who are a bit more advanced but not on a developer/coder level... one example would be if you could make videos for some of the "mods" like the reboot button mod. I want to try it but like another poster said, i tend to catch on to things when i see them, that way i know i didnt misunderstand what i read. Thanks for taking your time to post the videos that are already up though, it probably saved some ppl a lot of time from scanning these threads for simple answers.
