Ignore craftyguy unless what he says happens to prove true for you. Buying a desktop charger and extra batteries isn't a bad idea, though. Don't spend much money at it.

After charging the unit, the first thing I would do (well, some browsing first wouldn't hurt) would be running the Application manager and running the Maemo 5 update. Then after that update is completed, run Application manager again and see if there is another Maemo 5 update waiting for you; if so, run it.

After you've done that, be obsessed and just try a bunch of stuff.

Install n900fly and throw it as high up in the air as possible, then submit here and see if you got into the high-score

Thanks everyone for your posts. They were all informative and helpful in their own ways. Although I'm not sure if Texrat is serious or not...
