Why don't you try javas benchmarks and see yourself that fennec gives totally different results.
    WTF!?

look at the thread you posted.

i made this benchmark with ALL of the browsers available (at this time) for the n900!!!

microb and firefox were somewhere at 15 - 20.
    tear is at 55.
and midori is nearly hitting the 64 points!

so... please... read what you're posting before you post it... ^^

EDIT: for this test i didn't tweak anything. just installed the browser and made the test. so maybe tweaking around can improve the performance on these browsers.

iphone 3gs has a very fluid feel to it but i just hated the fact it had no text reflow. try using these forums it becomes impossible to read and replying.

i am pleasantly surprised how good opera mobile performed, i wish 9.7 was available for e71.

It seems that Omnia HD browser and Opera mini on HTC HD2 win easily by virtue of not having kinetic scrolling.

Kinetic scroll is might be great for "wow effect", but when browsing web sites, the most common operations - next screen, previous screen, start of page, end of page - require the user to do more than the minimum possible.

ya but there are tons of other things to consider than JUST kinetic scrolling feature, irrespective of the fact it is one of the essentials today which you somehow disagree
