Ok, the case/screen protector thread is huge and takes forever to wade through, so the aim of this thread is to have a poll of the different hard cases/skins ONLY, no screen protectors or pouches, and for you to vote which you prefer/like/use...

So far I've only used the Qubits case myself, but I'll add to this list what I can find from other members.

In the Poll:

I will add more as I hear about them.

So far I have not voted, I've only tried one (Qubits rubberized) and it has just broken in my hands (clip fell off)
---------------------

Edit: Can't edit a poll, sucks... I'll add more as I hear about them to this post and try and keep track what people say about them.

If the silicone case is anything like I picked up on EBay, then it's a great idea, but doesn't work in practice. Because of the slider arrangement between the case halves, there isn't enough tension in the skin, so it comes off easily. On the hard cases, a clear one I got off EBay goes on tightly; however the rubberized ones I got are just a little loose, so that lifting an edge of the case makes it come off. This is easily fixed with a two-thick piece of insulation tape hiding inside the top edge of the case.

my rubberized one had also started to come a bit lose on top before the catch on the bottom snapped off, might try out a crystal one then

I have Qubits hybrid armour too (2 actually) and i like it, but i'm not using it anymore. The screen part loosens up in anout month so badly that it won't stay on. it's a shame because it really provides much needed extra grip and protection from falling. I could keep using the back cover, but somehow it feels stupid without the screen part.

To anyone considering the rubberized cases above: stay away!

I've had one for about 3 weeks now, and after 2 weeks most of the small plastic tabs that hold the case on the device have broken off through normal opening/closing of the keyboard. Currently the case is very lose on my device (and comes off with little effort), only reason I haven't totally removed it is because I haven't decided what I'm going to replace it with.

Has anyone tried one of those invisibleSHIELD covers??

Ah bollocks, I meant to include that in the poll, I'm very interested as to how those hold up, and how protective they are from dropping/scratches

Yes, I did.

Ordered it on monday via eBay, got it on wednesday and placed it on wednesday night. It was a pretty painful job as there are nine seperate pieces you have to put on the device. The backside is a little sticky what makes proper placement a real hard job.

It's far away from offering a really complete protection, as some corners an little surfaces between the connectors aren't getting shielded. Beside that the foil looks like being really strong and I don't guess that anything will break it easily.

The surface now touches quite pleasant, it's a little bit gummy and doesn't slide away that easy anymore.

But for carrying it I'll buy another case. Too many parts aren't getting covered by this "Full Body Coverage"

I cannot fathom how this could happen, unless there was severe interference to begin with. Mine's been fine for around 6 weeks now. The only thing I'd done with the tabs was to file the lower right side one, because I thought it might scratch the phone while opening. So even my case with a filed (reduced thickness) tab has been fine.

Oh, and my fiancee's, with the same filed tab (hot pink color) has been just fine too.
