No, no, no! You heard that wrong. Nokia bought appleS. For their St. Valentine's Day party.

This is how rumors get started, folks!

Damn...I restarted this thread with a simple little "So where is the BIIIG news? " and you all go crazy.

That is leaving me with one conclusion: this forum is sucked dry on real news about the n900.

come on nokia...give us some goodies!

I heard OPK just read this article:
http://www.engadget.com/2007/06/11/n...-apple-lg-and/
and immediately ordered Nokia to stop manufacturing touchscreen phones.

Well, I've been part of the loop before and have known information about highly anticipated products (DSLR camera etc) before world announcement. I did mention some new features which were true on a private camera forum but no one believed me. So many rumours you hear can be true. Especially the believable ones.

Official qt 4.6 support which we already know is confirmed to be coming to N900. This also means that many new qt apps "may" also work in the N900. So I would expect some good stuff coming to the N900 in the future from Nokia.

jakiman Thanks for the update.

And don't worry, some people are skeptical by nature... time will tell.

Some things I'm hoping to see in future updates, whenever that may be are Flash 10.1, front camera enabled. I'd be happy with that alone.

The 'solely' part is surely bogus. If they just wanted Ovi Maps 3.0, they could have made a statically linked version, it would certainly be a lot less effort than doing the whole of Qt4.6 (which we know they are working on).
