I think this minor update is the one right before the major update PR 1.2 just like the minor update before PR 1.1 back a month ago.

And 5 minutes later, my phone has rebooted to the new OS.

Seems bullet-fast, screen transition are faster, app openings faster. Also, all music was retained, along with Skype and Flickr account settings.

Everything else I'm restoring from a backup taken just before the update, so it looks like all is good in 3.2010 land.

I was just looking at that picture aswell and wondering where it was from. Is that Sygic maps?

Nokia's two-step approach to updating this device cracks me up... Preliminary update to 'set the mood', then a larger update a week or so after

Update appeared for me in the application manager, but when I tried to install it, It requested I use the "nokia software updater" application.

And so I did, 157MB download, and about 5 minutes install,
All my settings are gone, wallpapers, openssh server... etc etc.

Ah, we have been successfully distracted from the MeeGo announcement! :-)

Someone had made a bugzilla search to find bugs that were fixed after a specific update. If anyone knows the details of what I'm talking about, sharing them here would mean that the (likely) bugs that are fixed in this update would be much easier to figure out.

That's a misleading picture. That maps app looks like Sygic.
