Hi,

I find the SDK installation procedure very complex, and my system doesn't have the requirements anyway (I don't have 3Go on my /usr partition). Moreover I tried the installation on another PC and it failed.

Why isn't it possible to developp on the N900 itself ???

It is, it's just complicated plus way slower to compile of course.
Search the forums...

Have you had a look at MADDE? This is a simple cross-compiling tool, which runs on windows, linux and mac. This should make it easier for you to develop for the device.
