sorry that I didn't have any time to test/report in the last days…

just tried revision 70 yesterday, and it worked flawlessly with my laptop (kubuntu) and WEP!
Also, the new installation method with the kernel-flasher is great, no need to manually flash anymore

Can someone please please pleeeeeeease write me some steps on how to get n900 Hotspot going? I tried to follow the instruction on the project page, but the download links take me nowhere.

I desperately need this to work. I was waiting for joiku. but it keeps rebooting and knowing them, it'll take months to fix it.

I don care how complicated or risky it is. Just tell me 1.2.3........

Sorry Those were links to the SCM browser where you see file change histories etc, now linked directly to the files on vcs.maemo.org

In other news I'm trying to get this stuff compiled for the kernel in the latest firmware update (20100303+0m5).

Edit: ignore, see http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...&postcount=162

Links fixed, however the latest firmware might solve the rebooting issue with joiku, at least there has been *something* made with the minstrel module (since the patch aziwoqpa made refuses to apply) in the latest firmware.

This is very nice to hear, especially since I've had so much trouble with my Mac.

The debian/rules is totally b0rked in this source package (see my latest rules.patch), now I need to get some sleep but it seems I still need to add symbol stripping there to modules since now they're 50M vs (2.3M for the previous version...)

The joikuspot app seems dog-slow. How does this method compare in speed?

The app itself or the shared connection and under what conditions ? Doing the NAT in kernel definitely faster but I don't have any idea of even the magnitudes we're speaking about.
