I hate to be a kill joy

But I am a little distrusting of Nokia atm.

So can you tell me exactly where this email came from etc?

If we regard this as Nokia admitting there's a manufacturing fault (which they aren't explicitly), then under UK sales law one may be protected for more than the 2 years NOkia warranty

    http://www.berr.gov.uk/whatwedo/cons...page38311.html

Comes also down to what anyone would regard as reasonable for lifetime of mobile phone. That may not be much more than 2-3 years...

It's linked to from his post - it was posted by the administrator of the Nokia Europe Support Discussions forum (who is, apparently, the Social Web and Communities Manager at Nokia).

Check my post again It's not an email, it was a post from an admin/mod on the official nokia forums! You might want to check my post again, I have provided the link. Don't be so mistrustful, always look on the bright side of life!

The problem is that I call My Nokia Care Center (Lille, France) and they are still not aware of that...

Mine fell off yesterday. I'm waiting to get the proof of purchase from my brother and I'll head to the store immediately!

I noticed that the charger which came with the phone requires considerable more force when pulling it out than another Nokia micro-usb charger I have. That might also contribute to the problem.

    I'll second that!
I find that the Lindy 1m USB-to-microB cable works very well
    http://www.lindy.co.uk/1m-usb-micro-b-cable/31664.html

There is minimal resistance when inserting the microB plug, although you must remember to squeeze the plug when removing it, so that the two little barbs on the underside of the plug retract or you will definitely find that you need a waranty repair

I have a little more faith in a guy hired by Nokia on a Nokia forum.

But then MarkS posting on endgadget got me all I can love Nokia again and that turned out to be squat once I got into the care center.

Ill try and ring the care line tommorow pm (My phone is at Nokia atm.)
