I Was reading the Maemo, org News Section and Found the link for "Harmattan demo – Widgets Gallery on N900"....
I installed it and Included In My cataloge and found loads of Applications which i have never seen before or only heard of them!

The Question is Are they ready for Use or still undertesting.... e.g Fmms ,duke 3d game and loads more.

Well i just cant wait to download some and try by myself...Do let me know If anyone has already gone through it......

Don't touch! This is the "evil" extras devel repository. There's lots of untested stuff in there and randomly trying stuff from there can bring your N900 into situations where you either need deep understanding of Linux, or have to reflash.
Some apps in extras-devel are safe, of course, but you never know. It's developer's playground.

If you don't know don't try
As previously said, this shouldn't restrict you from them but remember a few things.

Before you delve into the dev area's, can you fix your device, if you don't know what happened to it?

So, maybe learn more about what you are installing, definitley learn about how to recover your device (I.e. flasher), once you feel confident.... go for it...
If something goes wrong, you will feel alot more prepared

(Generic warning for devs area still applies!) Brickability rating = reasonably high (But then upgrading Nokia Firmware causes bricking.... meh)

You should disable the -devel repository just to be on the safe side. Open the application manager, click the title/menu thingy and click application catalogs. Then search for something like extras devel (mustn't be exactly that, but smething like that). Click it and check the "disable" box and save your settings and you should now only see the safe applications
