N900 was an open device.

But MeeGo has an open API with the hardware so at least some MeeGo devices will be more open than N900 at least in this respect.

I thought that the OpenMoko devices were completely open...
Although, I don't think that they are available anymore.

According to Wikipedia: "On 2 April 2009, Openmoko canceled planned phones." Bug Labs shows a 3G GSM module for their "The BUG" as "coming" but there is no information as to whether it would support voice.
