hi guys, hope someone can help

i went to update sib and recieve an error saying
    unable to install sib
conflict with application packages: libqt4-maemo5-network (4.6.1~git20100122-0maemo1)

i then tried uninstalling sib and reinatalling but recieve the same error.

possibly this has something to do with the fact that previously i had kmplayer and worldtv installed but i uninstalled them.

    any help would be great!

Make sure to have rootsh installed.
Then go to xterminal and type:

    root
    apt-get update
    apt-get install sib

This should update any dependancies also if required.

I think that you have a duplicate catalogue. That's why you have that "conflict". check your catalogues see for duplicates. and Re: me.

I think you have a duplicate catalogue. Go in catalogues and see if there is 2 similar catalogue. delete one of duplicates, and check the data. i think that KMPlayer puts automatically maemo-extras catalogue...

Just use "Faster application manager". It will announce you about conflicts, is able to auto-download packages needed for your app..clearing cash. Search it in App. Manager with all repositories.
