doesnt seem fixed to me .. installed WiFiEye .. and the same blue box .. though this is not really a concern ..

Well, actually, it is a bit of a concern, because for every app you install, and the icon doesn't get updated, you lose about 3...4MB of free space on root... The cache file gets updated every time, but because the old one is being used by some application, it cannot be yet deleted. If that happens, and just closing all applications doesn't help, the only workaround AFAIK is reboot.
Oh, wait, you could also close all programs and try to run the update icon cache command...what was it now...
