you're not one of those people. If you can't figure out how to reflash your device, don't even know about roofs and you think all the apps go onto the 2GB drive and if you panic like a little school girl if your N900 starts acting up, then the above mentioned repos are not for you.
... then i appriciate ur concern well its not that i couldnt find out how to do it my self or something but i never ever used anything near linux before i was always Windows Mobile user and i used to test alot of firmwares and everything without panic then changed iphone 3gs didnt like it and got my n900 so i was scared doing something wrong especially i live in a far country which dont have N900 thats why
so am trying to learn more about the meamo and these stuff to be good for future releases

I'm not even adventurous, only have 1 or two things installed from Testing and on from Devel (MaePad) which hasn't caused any problems in the days/weeks they've been installed!|

I had this happen to me this morning after intstalling Fuelpad!
Seems the only option is reflashing from skimming through this thread. Annoyingly, I'm out on a job for the moment! First time my N900 has played upI'm not even adventurous, only have 1 or two things installed from Testing and on from Devel (MaePad) which hasn't caused any problems in the days/weeks they've been installed!
Will flashing screw up my conacts?
I made a couple of backups previously on the device (which always seemed a bit odd to me!). Will flashing lose these backups?
I'm scared! :S

Flashing the firmware will leave your contacts and backups untouched. Flashing the eMMC, however, will wipe your contacts and (if your backups aren't on the memory card) the backups as well. You may need to do both - start with the firmware and see whether that fixes it first though. If you do need to flash the eMMC, try powering off the N900 and connecting it via USB first - this may start it up okay in mass storage mode and allow you to copy off the data from the MyDocs folder first.
