Hi! Suddendly my Nokia 770 turns on by itself at the same hour every day!
I have create a trivial shell script in /etc/rc2.d that save date command in a file: it turns on at 9:38 am every morning! Do you have an idea?!

    Thanks! Carlo.

Hmmm, this may be a first for a 770 as it used to be a common problem with the N800 - are you using OS 2007 Hacker Edition or OS 2006?

Try searching the forum for "hidden alarms" and see if the various threads that you find are of any use to you.

There are some older threads of this with the 770. I had the problem myself, but a simple resetting of the clock somehow fixed it. Try here for more info…

    Thank you!

I had solved setting an alarm by clock application on 9:38am and immediately removing it.

I notice this is a common problem with the NS800. I have that problem ...thought I was being sloppy with handling and accidentally turned it on. Can someone direct me to the resolution? Thanks

Start the Clock application, add an alarm, remove that alarm (and possibly any others) - finished.
