I cannot fathom how this could happen, unless there was severe interference to begin with. Mine's been fine for around 6 weeks now. The only thing I'd done with the tabs was to file the lower right side one, because I thought it might scratch the phone while opening. So even my case with a filed (reduced thickness) tab has been fine.
Oh, and my fiancee's, with the same filed tab (hot pink color) has been just fine too.

My 5800 hard rubber case tabs broke as well.
For those who own a hard case for more than a month whose tabs are still intact, which ebay seller/vendor did you purchase it from?

I've looked around on ebay, found this crystal case that looks ok. None of the pictures show the keyboard open, I assume the case allows that? TX

I bought a set including: rubberised hardcase, car charging, a leather case (not genuine leather) and a display protect folie (dont know the english word now, sorry) for round about 8 euros incl. shipping from hong kong. it took 2 weeks shipping to switzerland. the rubber case is great and the car adapter works perfect. the other 2 things i dont need, but thats also ok for this price. bought it from ebay

To be fair: The leather case does not really fit. Its little to small in my oppinion. and the "film" for the display seems not to be as good as my invisible shield i already have, but i even did not put it out. its still closed because i don't need it.
