I hope this isn't too much of a newbie question: I intend to get an N800 to stream audio (not video) from my home wireless network as I move around my house. I have just found out about Orb and wonder if I can just use that instead of going to the trouble of setting up a upnp server.
As far as I can tell, the two disadvantages of Orb vs. upnp are:
1) Media is streaming via the internet instead of my local wireless network (but for audio only would that make much of a difference)?
2) My computer would have to be on all the time, whereas a upnp server may be able to run on a network-attached hard drive. (Or can orb run on one of those?)
Am I on the right track here? Any comments appreciated.
