My N900's Mass Storage is corrupted and i need to reflash the firmware as per http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=44203. With out Mass Storage the Backup application is not working.
Before reflashing the firmware, i want to backup my conversation espically the SMS. Can i do with xterm ?

edit:

this is was comm_and_cal.zip contains:

in /home/user/:
.calendar
.intellisyncd
.osso-abook-backup
.rtcom-eventlogger
.signon
.activesync-backup.tar.gz
.modest-backup.tar.gz

and /tmp/.rtcom-accounts/
and /var/cache/alarmd/
and /var/lib/gconf/apps/activesync/
and /var/lib/gconf/apps/modest/

there would also be applications.zip, bookmarks.zip and settings.zip... but that would go way to far too list all of them.
