video show a bad technique to separate slider and display from the main unit like pull without care about connector and the flat flexible cable. this "technique" can crack joints betwen conector and flat cable.
take a powerful lens or a 50 mm foto camera lens ( better, keep front lens near your eye and back toward connector ) and search around conector for faulty joints. solder points must be shiny and no space betwen conector and cable. search for cracks on copper traces. you must not see intrerupts on copper traces. also search all flat cables for damadges from sharp edges of metal parts.
assure you for proper and full insertion of molex conectors ( parallel with pcb board , perfect alignment without using excesive force )
