How can you have video calls from the phone anyway? :S I mean won't you have to connect the headset and hold the phone in your hands during the conversation? Isn't that a bit difficult? ;/
The N900 has a hands-free function which works very good. You don't necessarily need a headset then, but e.g. in public transport, you probably don't want the other party to blare out of the speakers of your phone.
But what about plugging the tv out into the nokia, placing it below the tv and being able to have a video call with your family if they're thousands of miles away in your lounge? The mic may not be great though... Still would be awesome.
you can do it over sip as well if you specify h263 only for both ends on an asterisk box.
That's good news! I didn't know that was possible, I wonder if that means I can do a SIP call to another N900 and get video calling too? If anyone has tried this then I'd love to know.
