28, browsing web(mainly streaming anime sites), texting, IMing, playing the emulators, and using Pianobar to listen to streaming pandora music everywhere i go! I've had the occasional need to use ssh or telnet and its been handy for that as well.

I am 46 and I use it for web browsing, email, mutimedia, rss feeds, phone calls and texts etc etc.

I drive 200ish miles round trip to and from work (Suffolk Coastal to London) and I rely on the excellent Gpodder / Pannuci apps and the fm transmitter to listen podcasts and mp3 converted audible.com books to keep me sane and awake.

I've played around a bit with maemo/linux with my old N800 & N810 but I need to make time to learn more.

This thing goes with me everywhere, even the crapper.

It desperately needs decent GPS navigation software though....

Oh and the wife hates it!

I'm 38 and this is an average day with the device:

Use it as an alarm clock so it wakes me up early morning. I normally lie in bed for a bit while I check email, Google Reader and Twitter.

While having breakfast I hook it up to small speakers and either stream comedy stations from Shoutcast radio or listen to a podcast I downloaded.

Before setting off for work (I'm a teacher) I sometimes use Conboy to make notes about what I'm going to teach today.

On the way to work I normally listen to the media player, either music or audiobooks.

When I get to school and go to class, I often use the FM transmitter to play relaxing background music through a radio on my desk. Students seem to like it :-)

During my working day I will probably make 10-15 mins of calls, write 5-10 texts, check/write emails regularly and surf the net for maybe 15-20 mins.

On the bus ride home I'll normally watch a video (current series of choice: Eastbound and Down) or just stream internet radio again.

In the evening the N900 gets a fair hammering. My four year old son loves Angry Birds, so he'll often play that for 15-20 mins. During dinner I'll use it for background music again. Often I'll use MaStory to update my blog. My wife uses Skype to communicate with her family abroad. May take some pics of my son if he's doing somthing funny. Web-browsing, checking email, making notes, watching stuff on the iPlayer that I missed from the night before. If my son wants to watch children's BBC, I hook up the TV out and stream it to the TV on the iPlayer.

In bed I often use fbReader to read books and articles.

A truly awesome device, really not sure how well other devices would cope with my usage patterns. Definitely worth every penny I'm paying for it (with T-mobile in the UK on £35 a month contract for 18 months)

for me this is the phone I have waited for since 2000 when the idea of combining pjone and pda came to thought. just need one more item to top it off and that is being able to connect a external hard drive or cd drive to the usb slot.

ok for me my whole goal was to have one device that does everything so I use it for everything as it has replaced everything. I no longer use my 13 megapixel sony camera, or my TOMTOM GPS, or my Apple laptop, Ipod or the many accerories I had like the fm transmiter. I just carry this device. I do a lot of travelling through airports so I hate carrying any luggage as I usually buy when I get there or I already have clothes stash somewhere so that way I travel very light. I travel with clothes on my back, bible and passport and phone. And maybe the tv out cable.

Lets see I surf the web of course, use VOIP, FM transmitter when renting a car, IM, phone, bluetooth car receiver(in my personal car) and Nokia bluetooth headset which allows for talking and listening to music. I have also tried almost every app just to try it out at least once and know it's there when I need it rather it is an app for nintendo, snes, wifi hotspot, remote desktop viewing, ect I have tested it once.

So yes I am so glad to have this computer/phone, it's what I've been waiting for awhile now.

    And I am 34.

I almost forgot I watch Tv and movies on it using the web browser. I use you tube for some classic tv shows I like and a website called www.free-tv-video-online.info for movies and other tv shows. the 3g network here in Kuwait works really really fast for 22kd or roughly 70 USD. I pay of course 33kd a month plan for 45gb data and 500 voice minutes with Wataniya telecom.

21 and the N900 is my main portal to the net and it's my portable media player and it's my data backup drive and it's my camera and it's my alarm and it's also my phone.

It's not perfect but it does what I want and does it well and maybe even better after the next firmware update.
