    yea me either, i tried download scim ..everything, and i still have no idea how to get chinese input.. NEED HELP HERE.PLZ.!!

    IMO, the best way is to use MSCIM and its modules by firstfan.

    I use mscim and mscim-hangul for Korean input.
    But there are other modules for japanese / chinese input.

    This will give you native input in your N900.

    GNU EMACS is too complcated...
    mscim ..i install it but it didnt work , dont know why.

    You have to install mscim modules also. Not just mscim.
    Once installed, go to N900 Settings and make sure mscim is enabled with correct language. Then reboot.
    Then you can now input your 2nd langua via ctrl+space toggling.

    I don't know if japanese is properly working however with mscim-tables-ja.

    Jakiman, you mentioned in one thread that there are still some bugs that need to be fixed. Do you know if the bugs have been fixed already, or are soon to be fixed? Thank you!

    If you ask me, Nokia should provide us the necessary files/localisations! :-(
