I have a problem, because when I want to flash the internal memory of my N900 it says that "a siutable device is not found".... I tried everything from here....>http://wiki.maemo.org/Updating_the_firmware< does anyone have any idea what is happening??

More data please. :-) Which Operating system is this, for example? Your USB socket works in general?

windows / linux (I got flasher on both and both say the same thing).... USB works with my mates phone....

And also tell which image are you trying to flash (the file name).

if memory serves...that message is when u go ahead and do the 'phone off, hold u key while plugging in to usb' part.

im typically wrong tho :P

windows vista/ 7/ xp (pro.)....
the image is >>RX-51_2009SE_3.2010.02-8_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin<<

bus/port must be not working
i had same problem, but i solved it
