    Konttori,

How do I set this up to save to the internal memory card?

Take out the external card before you open the app. ;(

I'll add a choice to the next release.

Also, just as a side note, you can just press the fullscreen button in ukmp to make it 'normal' app.

I won't detach it from ukmp for a while.
All that it does is just push the interface down enough to draw the Maemo bars. It doesn't resize or change how the app is displayed to fit the smaller space.

Is the reason why they aren't separate is because UKTube relies on some of the code used by UKMP as well?

I can's seem to add Uktube to my simple launch bar.
Any idea why? is is the lack of an icon?
Not a big deal, just wondering...

No idea. Perhaps you could try asking the simple launch bar author.

@ukki: can't make python applets yet, so nope.
@djasmith: rss aggregator may be on its way at some point, just not yet.
@bnk: Beats me. I'm not too familiar with mplayer. Maybe you can make a pls file of the items and open that in mplayer.
How do you make a pls file?

there were instructions on the new mplayer thread on how to make playlist. Would you guys want uktube to have a continuous play mode?

    UKTube 0.5 crashes on me.

I paste the Youtube URL, uncheck "Save on memory card" and click Show in Widescreen.
UKTube is preparing for download and then closes.

Found out that there was a Video directory on my memory card. Removed that directory and now UKTube is "retrieving video data".

    Thanks,

    Ton.

    Toontje:
Can you try opening uktube in xterm and have a look at what happens?
uktube always first creates the video folder. It needs to have space on mmc1 to store the files to.
