My card (Mastercard) has this (SecureCode) but the Ovi store didn't ask me for it. I am not sure whether to be pleased (since I could buy the level pack) or worried (since it didn't do the additional authentication).
no stress, the seller is responsible for anything and I guess you could deny the payment and nokia wont get any money because they can't show that they have asked advanced authentication.
Nokia is telling me that the extra $1.54 is for "taxes." I don't know about them but I'm not sure any state charges 50% for taxes... Also, my credit card company is showing the $1.54 as a separate charge, so it can't be tax.
I'll give it a couple of days, then I'll start complaining.
If it doesn't get resolved, that will be the end of me purchasing from the Ovi store. (Doesn't mean I won't pay for software, just not through the Ovi store).

I'm in Maryland (US) and the receipt I got from Nokia says the total is $2.99 (taxes shown were $0.0). The transaction is not showing up on my credit card account just yet so I'll have to see what it ends up being.
The website, checkout page, and confirmation e-mail both show $2.99 as well. Also, the $1.54 is a separate charge so I'll probably just dispute it saying that I never authorized any $1.54 transaction.
