Oh and #3-Don't even for a second do you want to compare Nokia's firmware release's to ANY console or PC gaming release dates..
    #1 thanks, good advice

#2 not using my n800 (waiting for skype still, not usefull enough to carry around with me everywhere yet) Thats why i asked.

#3 why would we compare nokias update to firmware for pc or console games? apples don't = oranges.

funny is n t it? I like the "customer oriented" words. It seems they have read this thread and similar ones for months.

Texrat, 5 days left to apply... Maybe that s when the guy in charge is fired.

it would be interesting to know the trade off = we,are delayed by 3% but we increase quality by 10%

How does the integration process work?
Skype may be sitting on their software until the firmware update is out so they can ensure that Skype will work properly with the new firmware. It's annoying now, but it's probably a good idea compared to releasing Skype now and having a bunch of problems when people upgrade their firmware.

The last one's the big one, I think. S/w releases are a big thing to co-ordinate so having all week to get the servers updated etc. makes sense.
    .
all this is true and may well apply to Saturdays...
