some nice convenience apps.

ie rootfs cleaner so i dont have to go cleaning manually. something along the lines of ccleaner for a pc.

LED alert configation GUI for LED alert customisation

whats yours?

There is a LED pattern thread here.

I myself would like to see: passwordmaker.org.
Its a really nice thing both as a Firefox plugin, a javascript and why not on a N900!?

I'm working on a rootfs cleaner(Will be part of healthcheck, link in my signature), and i think mentioned above, the led pattern customiser is on it's way too (there is one in extras-dev, but not stable yet)

personally id like to see some sort of customisation app, an all in one for, changing boot videos, fonts, etc etc

and FYI - dont be a n00b and copy and paste commands into the Terminal with out knowing what it doe's and what you'll need to do to correct any problems.

a basic video editor like the one that came with my s60 phone.

also a photo editor to enhance contrast, brightness, gamma, improve colors, remove red eyes etc.

have to admit after using easy debian early, i was impressed with using GIMP - little slow, but very impressed!!

One thing I really miss having moved from Symbian is the Large Time Screensaver (http://www.martin.st/software/largetime.png) by Martin Storsjö.

This app displays the time and message waiting/missed call icon on the blanked screen (backlight off).
