hi, sorry to bother you but i don't know who else to turn to, i've been using my N900's beautiful browsers using wifi only, because when trying to connect over 3G it says "package data not available, so i don't know if it's me that doesn't know how to configure it correctly or a SIM card problem, but it's the same sim that i used to use with my E61i and it worked then :S, i don't know if it's that much more complicated now with N900 being more a small laptop than a phone, the only way i can connect thru my provider it's in weird ocassions using 2.5G (using dual mode) and takes a loong time to open just google .. i think it's got something to do with gprs but then again, i don't know, i'm kinda frustraded cause i payed for a data plan, and i'm not getting it and i call to complain but service here (Venezuela ) sucks.... any help configuring it please

I'm pretty sure you won't get any 3G connectivity since this phone doesn't have the common bands used in the most part of south america.

BTW, i'm from Argentina and it happens to me too but i knew that 3G wasn't working when i got it cause i mostly use wifi.

Cheers

Actually i checked, and it is suppose to be able tu run on 3G, since my provider is Digitel here, and they use the band 900 for 3G, and the N900 has it, and it even says 3G sometimes , the problem is when i try to connect, per say if i use the applet for 2G, 3G or dual, if i put 3g it says connection failed, try again? and it just an infinite loop :S ... even my e61i could go on 3g sometimes, so i'm sure it's just that i don't know how to configure it right to pass from gprs to package data transfer thingy , thx anyway man
