Hi, all! I need to develop middleware in maemo platform, but I know little about it. I noticed that there is a package named 'FMTX Middleware'. is there any people know about it or something like that? Please help!

FMtx is a closed source component so Im afraid it may not be possible to develop middleware for it.
But you could use the api's provided to come up with something interesting if possible.

Thanks for your reply! I want to know if I write a middleware, is it necessary to shield the details for os or hardware? As we know, maemo5 is going to transit to meego, maybe this is necessary.

yes maybe thats a wise thing to do, as there is nothing said about what hardware meego or future maemo's can run on. They can and would change with time.
meego I suppose will also run on intel chips and related hardware, but Im not as knowledgeable to provide some concrete answers on this.
