Hi all,

How do i set my phones backlight not to go off when im using apps such as ovi maps' and speedometer etc i want to sit it on the dash and they just run but after 2 mins the backlight goes out :-(

Settings -> Display -> Scroll down -> Turn off power saving mode

I think that works (Allthough never sure lol!)

There's an app called simple backlight app or something, it adds a back light meter thing to your status area where you can change the lighting, and if you press the button next to the meter it makes the back light go on without going off.

Weird.. my backlight never goes out with Ovi maps running.

In any case, just install Simple Brighness Applet.

It will give you options for setting backlight brightness through the status-area, as well as a quick shortcut for keeping the display lit in any app.
