How to delete folders from the memory card through the phone?

Have you tried the terminal? What folders in particular are you looking to remove? Are the permissions an issue (ls -l then chmod)? Do you have a specific error message?

you can do it througth the file manager. im sure that you can tap and hold the folder, then delete.

or xterm, cd to parent folder, rm -s foldername, enter, done

Press options -> delete then select files to delete.

Deleting files from internal storage and memory card is different - which is a bit silly really.

(memory card is fat32 - so no file permission, and pressing and holding doesn't show delete!)
