Ok...I ruined (and then modified) my headset that came with my N800. I ripped off one of the earbuds...so I actually repaired it by ripping off the other one...soldering on an 1/8th inch female jack and now I can use any earbuds I want (like the ones from my iPod which sound so much better) and I still retain the use of the microphone and the answer/kill switch. Anyway, my issue is that I would like to buy a new headset...either the actual HS-48 or another model/brand that will work as well or better. I looked on the Nokia site and couldn't find the HS-48 to order anywhere. Anyone have any ideas? I like my modification, but it's a little bulky now and would like the simplicity of the stereo earbuds and mike as I had it before. Open to any ideas, but want to get some before Skype comes ;-)
I hate the included earbuds. They are very difficult to keep from tangling due to the different wire lengths to each earbud. I too would like to find a more suitable replacement.
