Shouldn't the source i.e. tar.gz work? It's little harder to install but still plausable..

I am tunneling a Vncviewer through ssh. So if you need to connect to your desktop i would advice to do the same.

firefox mobile supports logmein ,, you can access your a/c and remote control other machines from there, ..
