Hi,
I recently noticed that my screen, when the slider is down in closed position (no keyboard), is slightly misaligned on the right side. It is going too low basically.
Is there any DIY way to fix this?

Thanks for your help.

It could be caused by drops.

I've dropped my N900 multiple times, and I've managed to loosen the bevel on the screen, causing the mis-alignment you're talking about, and a fair amount of dents and scratches.

As far as a DIY way, not many have disassembled publicly (YouTube, for example) a N900 yet.

If you can live with it, or you're fairly certain that it's not going to fall apart anytime soon, I'd hold off on DIYing until your warranty expires (by then, there should be a decent amount of third-party documentation on the innards of the N900).

Thanks for your reply, xomm.
I am very careful with it but it did fell once. The phone functions properly, it's more of an aesthetic matter and the fact I can feel it when I hold it.
I tend to think I would need to adjust a screw somewhere but indeed there isn't much info available, just this N900 disassembly video (http://www.tehkseven.net/news/nokia-...0-disassembly/)).

The video is an invaluable source for DIY fixes, thanks. (And their stress tests are pretty nice too!).
