Now that the F1 season is starting i would really love to have live timing displayed in my N900.
I kept digging the web/forum and found app called live-f1. It is made for Ubuntu and has previously been ported atleast for N770.
I tried downloading the deb-file that supposedly used to work with N770. It installed fine into my N900 but when trying to log in to the live-timing it keeps saying that login request failed: Method not allowed
Could some nice programmer take a look at it and see if it could be fixed for N900?
[update]: Just tried the version in the maemo repository - the password isn't shown on the screen when you type it in (presumably for security), but if you enter it and press return it's accepted and you can see the stats. I guess the debian bug fix mentioned above is already incorporated or formula1.com has just been updated so it's not necessary.
hmmmmm
installed it
launched it
got an xterm box asking me for username and password so entered my login details
program closed???
tried to relauch it again
get a quck flash of an xterm box which immediatly closes???
tried resarting my n900 but the same thing happens???
anyone else got this problem????

So you tried giving your formula1.com live timing accounts login details and it failed? They are only asked once and if you gave them incorrectly I'm guessing action is as you described above.
You can ensure that your login details are correct by looking into file /home/user/.f1rc.
If they are incorrect removing the file lets you set them again in app.
[Edit]
It is possible to get more detailed information from your problem if you launch the program from terminal with command: live-f1 -v
