Hi

whenever i try to open the ovi maps or the map widget on the desktop i keep getting the message Looking for GPS and then GPS not found. I am connected to the wi fi. i get the message downloading data/ looking for GPS. the downloading data message error goes but the looking for GPS doesnt. Earlier I used to get the track me button but now i jus cant connect to the gps. i am trying it from the same place where i used to earlier and it used to get connected, now it doesnt.

What am i doing wrong and can this b a hardware issue?

thanks

Did you change anything in the settings?
It should be set as enabled and the GPS device should be set as the internal.

i hav the setting as internal gps but i had disabled the network positioning. now after enabling it i can see the red track me buttin and its kind of giving my approx location. so does this mean the gps will work only if i hav the network positioning on?

P.S i cant still get the gps when i m not in the wi fi range.
