Keep in mind you only need the adapter for Mini-SD cards - MMC's fit fine as-is in both slots.

The N800 has two slots (one inside the battery cover, one on the bottom under the stand), so you can use both your own card and the freebie from Nokia.
Just got my N800 yesterday and it came with an SD card that is an adapter for putting microSD cards into...
embarassingly I cant get the adapter thing open to fit my MMC card into! its got some sort of "flap" on the top it seems but I am not sure how to open it...
sorry I know thats a bit vague but was hoping anyone who got such an adapter with their N800 might know what I was talking about and know how to open it!
the adapter is nokia branded if that helps...
