Is it just me or is the app manager realy slow?
When you start the app it always takes a lil' time to start up well, then, if you want to download it takes a long time to load. Then every category also takes a lil' time and so does the list when you just downloaded.
But then there's the worst. If you want to update ur apps, it always checks for updates. And that can not be stopped, no matter how many 'stops' you push. And that loading takes like 2/3 minutes:O.
I know it all sounds a bit silly, but hasnt anyone else feel like this about it?
And are there people improving it?
It has to take a long time since it has to poll the application repositories for updates. Otherwise, what it's showing you may not reflect what is actually available on the servers.
If you want to speed things up, then remove some applications repository catalogs from your device. The fewer catalogs, the less time it takes to update the application listings.
