is this the update we all been waiting for? is it downloadable?
It doesn't look like the update, no - the changelog in there covers the differences between the pre-release and release firmwares, so looks very old to me.

I agree.
The packages comparision shows it's got Qt 4.5.3.
From what's been said, it should be at least Qt 4.6.
I posted about this in another forum and here's the summary of currently noticed changes from the manual in this thread.

- Night Photo and Night Video modes.
- Video recording resolution support.
- Mail widget
- Official support of portrait mode in web browser.
- Native Geolocations support for web browser.
- Volume button can be set to either volume or zoom for browser.
- Themes for Smileys and Conversations.
- MfE support enhancements. (Can accept/decline meeting requests)
- SMS option only shows for mobile phone numbers. (not for landlines)
- File Manager allows sharing of any files. (no more need for Petrovich)
- Clear device data and restore settings option. (possibly full factory default)
- Group chat possible in Instant Messaging - Search by typing for applications in App Launcher.
- Sticky tags for videos and photos.
