I am running VNC Viewer on the N800, Real VNC on XP Pro, I can connect and view the Desktop via my laptop, but get a "Could Not Connect" error from the N800... any ideas. I have tried with both Real VNC servers(4.0,4.2) and Tight VNC.

Never had any problems on the N800. May be your server config/routing or whatever.

All setings are configed, I can use the VNC from a seperate PC. But when using the N800 it is almost an immediate error stating "Can Not Connect".

Make sure you entered everything correctly on the N800. Also, that you're on the same network (make sure).

Are you able to ping your server from your N800?

How are you set up with tight vcn? I am having a hard time figuring out how to make VNC viewer on the n800 "listen" for tight vnc as I attempt to add the nokia as a client.

EDIT: Got it working by activating the services.

Is there any way to activate the software keyboard when using vnc viewer? I found it is useless if only supports "read-only" viewing , no keyboard input can be made for programs need input on the remote machine.

Push the button in the middle of the d-pad to bring up the full screen keyboard
