Hi,
I'm a total newbie with programming the N900 (maemo 5) so I started with the ESBox which looked nice. The emulator also worked (after some initial problems). But I can't seem to connect to the device. I have followed the instructions at http://klentech.blogspot.com/2010/02...ith-esbox.html but I have run into an unexpected problem. I did note the passwords when I installed, but something must have gone wrong because now when I type them they are not accepted.

Is there any way I can change them? Or how do I remove enough so that they get set again? Please help. This is immensely frustrating (particularly considering that for android you just plug things in and they work)...If all else fails - can I clear everything and reinstall the device completely? I actually tried the factory reset but it asks for a code that I don't have (and it doesn't appear to clear everything anyway).....

All help appreciated!
/Charlotte

Hi Charlotte,

did you install SSH on your device? ESbox uses SSH connections to get connected with device. Therefore, you have to set up your SSH password before.

Anyway, if you want to clear ESbox saved passwords, just remove your current workspace.

Regards, Raul.
