So they got a kernel from September 2010? Thats clever voodoo...

or someone had a bit of a bad typing day and has messed up the versioning for the next six months....

Can't check the camera but it's slightly clear that 720p won't be possible with the current hardware.

To clear up the browser back button thing, it brings you one pag back, instead of showing the history part, which can be accessed by the gesture.
I'll check with the requests when I get home.
Omnia HD have very similar hardware to n900 , and it recording video on 720p , so I think that ,n900 hardware is capable to record at this resolution too.

You could try to read the thread. OR install it on your pc, and then try to squeeze your pc into your n900 via the sd-cardslot.

Keep discoveries from the manual in the old thread, please!
If you have requests make sure they don't have to do with the camera, phone, ovi maps and skype.
If you have the SDK and you found something new post it.

It has an 8MP camera, not a 5MB one.

^ Not important for 5MP or 8MP...even 2Mp cam can record 720P
