Yes thats what i meant the zooming in part when i said it messes up my screen. Heres how ofter. Mplayer- Pretty much every time ( 8 out of 10 times) UKTUBE- After the clip plays pretty much everytime. Aside from that with the new update for the n800 the app uktube like it always did but after i paste a link the app closes. Yes i have python 2.5, mplayer. Ive tried everything uninstalling then reinstalling, rebooting several times , and taking the mmc out and back in nothing seems to work. Help please someone

Is UKTube crashing for anyone else? I have both Python and Mplayer installed and uptodate, along with the latest UKTube. It'll start, but when I paste the link and then click any of the three buttons at the bottom, it just shuts down.

    Ideas?

This is a 2GB card, btw!

Update: This appears to have been fixed with the firmware update.

for me this shutting down happens with some youtube files, not all files, so it seems to be youtube oriented problem. I save same files by bookmarklet way (info can be found in forum) successfully though

Hi Uhro, got one "problem" yesterday: I started streaming a 15MB file but found that it was not what I was searching for. Returned to uktube by pressing the escape key, it was still downloading the remaining part of the file (reasonable)

Is there any chance to stop it or do I have to exit uktube (like I did) and restart?

    thanks in advance!

I believe Uhro is on vacation, so I'll point out that he comments on this issue in one of the demo videos in the Uktube 0.6 release announcement. Specifically, Uhro stated that you cannot stop the download once begun and it would be taken care of (hopefully) in a future release.

You'll have to exit for now.
