Why are you in such a hurry to get a pentesting stack?
Am sure the developers are working on getting to a release stage. Patience.
I am really keen to get this as I use it as part of my job and being able to use it on my phone instead of carrying a couple of laptops around will make life a little easier

Yes, I do understand the usefulness of the pentesting stack for security administrators. I do similar testing myself in my work and a pentesting unit in your pocket would rock!

If there was so much work left, then why don't they ask for help?
Or why did they annunced it so soon?
Or why haven't they release more information?

At a guess I would say that they're proud of the work done so far and excited about releasing it. Nothing wrong with a bit of tease.
What more information do you want? The tools in Backtrack and Neopwn 1 are well documented. Now I know that NeoPwn v2/Backtrack is coming, I'd rather the next post about it I see be the [Announce].

Surely you mean as well as a couple of laptops?
as much as I love my n900 and can see some areas where it can assist on a testing engagement, there is simply no way it can replace my existing testing rig.
