I had performance issues for the first day but that has settled down a bit now. I found things were better after going into media player and accessing the media lists. I suspect that it got the indexer Daemon to move a tad a faster checking things. A couple of reboots afterwards also seemed to have helped the longer term performance too. Hope this is of some help but at least it's a no cost (other than time) possible solution to try!

My device was crawling horrible after the update. Artifacts left on the screen as transitions occured, scrolling the desktop left and right was awful. I rebooted and it returned to normal and has been fine since..

Have you checked your CPU utilisation with top or conky?
