yes its possible to change the ball slider and the background are you saying the background image doesnt go with the theme and you want it changing?

what about something like this? if you like, ive included zip file.place background image in: usr/share/themes/alpha/background

place the thumbslider image in:
usr/share/themes/alpha/images

if you want somthing more specific just let me know.
