Hi, I set bash as "user"'s default shell, and rebooted. It works, but not exactly as expected, for example, '~/.bashrc' is not executed, and $PS* are set differently. I need to run bash (again) from the prompt, then everything works. I think it's just xterm's problem, how to fix it?
edit: oh, and I use Fremantle, (version 3.2010.02-8)

Maybe it is a login-shell. Then you have to rename the .bashrc to .profile (or .bash_profile)?

Do your changes to /etc/bash.bashrc
and add
Code:
source /etc/bash.bashrc
to /etc/profile.

If you want to use bash with "sudo gainroot" modify /usr/sbin/gainroot script
