Hey guys of the MC, I recently tried to download Katana Bible App....but when I tried to open it.....it just loads then nothing happens. I tried it several times and the same thing happened, I even tried to rebooting the N900....but the same thing happend. The Katana file size itself in application manager before I download it is like 8.5MB but after I've downloaded into my N900, the file size is reduced to 220KB.....so am just confused right now. I just uninstalled the app again right now =(. I really need this app on my N900, its the most important app for me to have. Would really appreciate it if someone would direct me on how to properly install Katana Bible App. God Bless.

Katana is based on sword bible modules and you would need to download the different bible files to be used by Katana. Presently you wont be able to download bibles directly from Katana, that feature is presently being worked on.
On the alternative you can download Rapier (another bible application that has the ability for you to download sword modules) and download all the bible modules you need and you would be able to access them in Katana. You can also do it manually by downloading it from the sword website and use the instruction here http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p=376831&postcount=4 but that might be confusing

Thanks... anyone able to help me in why some translations show up as blank text (in both katana and rapier; also bibletime from ubuntu though xiphos works fine)? For example, this happens with the ISV translation but not the KJV.
(Edit: got this message with bible-time, though not from rapier, which does turn up some google results.. didn't spot anything that actually helps though:

Some of the tran slations are not available for free!
I.E. the german HfA. You will have to buy a key for it.
As they do not have a user interface to enter the key, yiu will have to do it manually in the config file (/home/user/.sword/mods.d/gerhfa2002.conf). There is a line with "CipherKey=". Just enter your key there.
