I've read all the post, however I still can't get my N900 to flash to the global firmware, it stops at looking for a suitable usb device, do you have any suggestions? All greatly received

then i decided toflash the device . downloaded maemo flasher on windows then downloaded the international version of the second firmware and then did all the steps in the cmd of windows xp 64 bit.but but my work stops when in the line i see that - it is waiting for a suitable usb device. im stuck there dont know what to do.
also i dont understand what is disabling driver signature checking.
any help would be helpful.
