I think your expectations are somewhat high. Clearly they should work on nothing else but portrait mode. :roll:

I postulate that these incremental updates are designed to be delayed multiple times and becomes generally annoying to the general users population in the hope that they realize that these things aren't that important in the grand scheme of things.
That users should take a step back and take the time and effort to evaluate their lives and improve their own personal conditions to the point that they can withstand the occasional forum trolls and not experience any nervous breakdowns over them. To improve their financial aspects so that purchasing a N900 doesn't mean months of ramen eating and experience extreme fanboy-ism due to this. To improve their love life, so they get a gf/wife to take care of the mundane stuffs... thus they can have both hands to interact with their handheld devices at all times and not b*tch for one-handed portrait modes in this forum all the time.

you're all wrong! next update is 1.2 but it adds only support for 32gb cards. next bigger upgrade comes with meego / n910 and not directly for n900.
